Although Teddy is typically a mellow guy, he was very excited to be able to have such a special role in his parent’s wedding.
It was a big day and he didn’t want to miss any part of it. We started our adventure out at Aloft Sarasota, where Teddy was able to hang with his fellow groomsman for a bit. Then, we took a nice scenic walk down near Bayfront Drive.
After taking in the view of the boats that lined the ocean, we stopped for a couple of water breaks before packing up to head over to the beautiful Selby Gardens where the wedding would be.
When Amanda arrived Teddy was so overcome with awe that he almost didn’t recognize her! After a couple of sniffs, his confusion soon cleared. Teddy seemed to be right at home after touring around the botanical gardens. When it was time for pictures, he was beaming with smiles!
There is certainly a very special bond between Kevin and Teddy that can not be denied. So, it could not have been more fitting for him to stand with the other special men in Kevin’s life as he made a life-long commitment to Amanda. Teddy knew how important this was and took his role very seriously as he warded away any fly that would dare try and ruin the ceremony. A quick snap of his jaws and they were no longer able to bother any human within his range.
After receiving many compliments on how handsome he looked with his bowtie and how wonderful he did all around, there were just a few more pictures to be taken before heading home to relax.
While everyone took a quick break, he took the opportunity to eye a drink that looked oh so refreshing. After all, he did believe he deserved it after working so hard !
