Knox is a pup that had a tough start to life. He was found in Alabama with another dog roaming the streets on a terribly injured leg. Luckily for Knox and many other animals, he was given a second chance thanks to the Suncoast Animal League, a non-profit animal rescue. They take in animals in need providing them with healthcare, love and forever homes. Foster families volunteer their time and homes for those animals in need of more hands on care, such as Knox.
We went out to an event last weekend at the Stilt House Brewery in Palm Harbor to raise funds for Knox' medical bills and rehabilitation. The turn out was incredible, but what else do you expect when you take a bunch of dog lovers and throw in delicious, locally crafted beer!? It was so beautiful to be surrounded by so many wonderful people in support of such an incredible cause. As for Knox, you would never know the struggles this guy has been through. The pure joy and appreciation of life that dogs have is an inspiration in itself.
Typically our Yappily Ever After program is geared towards special events, like weddings, but recently, we had the pleasure of collaborating with a Tampa-based company to host an unforgettable employee appreciation day!
