We are constantly hearing photographers telling us about how their clients will show up with an unannounced pet. It's not with bad intentions, but many responsible pet owners don't see the full picture when it comes to including your furry best friend in a photo shoot.
Most photo shoots take between 2-3 hours, and on average about 30 minutes of that time is spent on photos that actually include your pet. So what exactly is your pet doing for the rest of that time while you and your family are still taking photos? Hiring a professional pet sitter means not only will your pet be fully occupied during their "off" time (with long walks and playtime!) but you will also have smiling, happy pups looking at the camera for your shots! A professional pet sitter will take away any stress involved; They will come fully prepared with water to keep them hydrated, squeaky toys and treats to keep their attention, and even puppy wipes and lint rollers for those accidents we all know can happen!
Take a look at some of these amazing pictures from our photo shoot with Winston, Baby Bear & Lily (and of course their wonderful parents, Kati & Jay!) We encountered a few squirrels, a herd of deer and a couple tangled leashes but we were well equipped to handle it :)

Including your pup in professional photos is an incredible experience, just make sure you're prepared with a professional pet sitter so that they can handle any of the chaos and surprises that may occur! It is so special to have your furry family in your photos, especially when you end up with pictures like Kati & Jay's!
