'Pupkin' Spice Treats

It's officially Fall and the weather in Florida is starting to synchronize with this beloved season. As the season goes, we're seeing pumpkins everywhere! Pumpkin is not only a favorite for humans, it's a delicious favorite for our pups, too! It is very nutritious and is proven to benefit our four legged friend's digestion, as well. With this in mind, we wanted to share with you our super simple and super healthy 'Pupkin' Spice Treat recipe!

We used just 3 simple ingredients for this recipe. Personally, our pups have food and skin allergies, so we wanted to keep the treats organic and gluten free. We decorated a few mason jars and brought these to our last event in Downtown Safety Harbor and they were a hit! The pups gobbled them up and while we know that some dogs will eat just about anything, we took this as a compliment! ;-) Check out the recipe below and let us know how your pups liked them!

Pupkin Spice Treats

1 cup of Creamy Organic Peanut Butter

2 cups of canned Organic Pumpkin

3 1/2 cups Organic Gluten Free Brown Rice Flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Stir peanut butter and pumpkin together in a large bowl, slowly adding flour in

Roll the dough out and depending on your style, either use a cookie cutter to cut out the dough or break off and roll small pieces placing them on a prepared cookie sheet

Bake for 8-12 minutes and let cool completely

This yields about 100 treats, so store the extras in an air tight container and freeze for up to 3 months
